I am Matilda, a Newborn Photographer in Northampton, United Kingdom. I am specialised in newborn, maternity, babies, cake smashes photography. With over 10 years of experience in the photography industry, I can’t wait to photograph your journey from bump to baby and create lasting memories for your family.
I have a custom-built photography studio at my home in Hunsbury Meadows, Northampton, perfect for the sessions I offer. Northampton, situated in the heart of the United Kingdom, attracts clients from Kettering, Corby, Market Harborough, Daventry, Milton Keynes, Bedford, Leicester, Birmingham, Oxford, Luton, London, Cambridge and other surrounding areas for their photoshoots.
I’m looking forward to working with you, whether it’s capturing your pregnancy, your new baby, or that all-important 1st birthday cake smash session. In years to come, when your newborn baby has grown up, these photographs will mean more than they do today. My aim is to provide you with a calm and relaxed photoshoot, giving you timeless images you can cherish forever within your home. I put my heart and soul into creating fine art portraits that are unique and natural with your baby at the centre of everything.
Matilda has done a fabulous job with our maternity photos and our newborn shoot. She was amazing with our baby, she was 9 days old at our shoot and she made her feel so at ease (and us). The photos of pixie – rose and us are beautiful and we will treasure forever. Nothing is too much trouble and when pixie – rose decided to have a few accidents on the props Matilda handled it perfectly ☺️. I can’t recommend her enough! And we will certainly be back for future shoots 🥰.
Cannot recommend more highly! Matilda was absolutely fantastic with our newborn daughter (who was quite frankly, not the easiest client!). She was incredibly patient and calm despite our daughter crying and not settling for the photos but she managed to calm her and spent ages doing so (rocking her round the room etc) in order to get the most gorgeous photos of our baby. She deserves a thousand stars and we are so so pleased with the quality of the photos and the excellent service. We will definitely be back!
